things life is too short for:
- hating yourself
- pretending to laugh at “jokes” that are actually just bigoted statements
- not singing along to your favorite songs
- waiting hours to text someone back just to look cool
- bad coffee
- bad books
- mean people
- body shaming
- letting other people dictate your life
- larry’s storyline

Don’t shame bad books, reading bad literature, bad erotica, bad fan fiction, it gives you life!

How 'bout you don't be an ass toward anyone for traits they cannot change. (Sexuality, gender identity etc)

cishet folk are bad and should be shunned for their actions

No, bad folks are bad and should be shunned for their actions. Cishet people…you mean like the people who came together to create you? Cause, that happened you know.

-Billy

i guess you didnt read my answer right so ill repeat : cishet folk are bad and should be shunned for their actions . yes this includes my transphobic parents that refuse to use my preferred pronouns and claim i am faking mental illness for attention . they are extremely bad .

also i love how you assume parents that can reproduce have to be cishet . youre nasty

Don’t start with the passive aggressive fucking childish “I love how you” nonsense, first of all. You clearly don’t know how reproduction works so I’m gonna keep you from embarrassing yourself.

And your parents are transphobic because you came out as a fucking pokemon and want to be called “it” and they didn’t take you serious. Ok.

You don’t want people to get on you for your “gender” and sexuality so you think doing the exact same thing is what will solve this problem. Stop being a fucking hypocrite and maybe, just maybe, people wouldn’t dismiss you as an attention starved child. And maybe if you acted like you had some sort of common sense and didn’t say dumb shit like THAT all the time, nobody would come to tell you to shut up. But, as you said, you are fine seeing the world in black and white. I feel sorry that the only way you can feel good about yourself is to trash on an entire group just cause you can’t handle receiving the same shit you choose to throw out.

1930’s Teen Delinquents

i.e. life role models

I’m just gonna reblog this again because it’s one of my favorite pictures ever.
That girl in the chair seems like such a badass I bet she was the leader of the crew.

I want to write about these girls.

When I was a teenager my mother found my grandmother’s (her mother) school scrapbook. It included things like photos, notes, and a two page spread of every demerit she ever received over the course of her formal education. Each of them set aside with little tags like she was so fucking proud of them. They were all for things like, “Unladylike behavior” or, “Skirt too short” or, “refuses to listen to authority”. I loved that spread so much.

I always have to reblog this.

Yes these are from two different websites but the fact is, this happens, a lot. Some women screaming that catcalling isn’t flattering while other women scream that if they don’t get catcalled it makes them feel unattractive. It would be nice if everyone could get on the same page with this and stop confusing the fuck out of people.

You mean… All women don’t think the same?

Okay since you clearly missed the fucking point. Feminists scream up and down that catcalling is horrible but at the same time when some of them fail to get catcalled they complain this makes them feel bad. Yes this is actually called sending mixed signals. If you even see in the other one the girl even knows it’s creepy but still wants it to happen anyway. Learn to read. Or don’t. Whatever. I’m not even sure why I try to make points on this website any more.

I think for that person it’s more to validate their attractiveness? I mean people who put effort into their look kinda do want a positive response but I think she’s looking for compliments, not cat calling.

Original post: here

so sick of this “go big or go home” thing. It’s impossible to be goth/lolita/[whatever subculture] 100% of the time. I don’t need to put on a corset to buy fucking groceries.

Agreed. Especially when it comes to work and situations where you can’t really dress how you want. Summer even.

Like 3 of the people who follow my art blog are people I know. I feel so accomplished.
