Xellos’ reactions in this are purely priceless.
Last night we ran a Slayers d20 campaign. This is pretty much how it turned out.
(except we didn’t have a Filia and Lina was the one asleep on the table)
Finished commission from DeviantART. It’s for a doujinshi with Luna (this Luna is her original design) and Xelloss paired? It was actually very difficult to incorporate everything I was asked to put into this since every detail had some conflict going on but I think it’s done.
I took some liberties with the requests (there was a request for blood/injuries originally but i really like the fact that demons/mazoku in the slayersverse just kind of… bleed black drips with the astral plane open behind the injury and the smoking tendrils of their human/projected forms melting away) so I decided to stay away from blood and keep it more canon (and I didn’t want blood on luna in order to keep it clutter free)
the hardest part was working in the weapons requested… I felt like I lost some of the original feel of the pose but all in all I had fun working on it since i was getting paid to draw one of my favorite characters and it was just an excuse to do a fun painting! Hope it turned out all right

I’ve wanted to do a proper fanart for Slayers for a really long time and finally got around to it. Fitting the four main characters into some setting was hard so I put them lost in a forest. Xellos and Naga are there too since the series wouldn’t be the same without ‘em.
I went to install Mavericks, the new version of OSX, yesterday, and it told me my hard drive was irrevocably damaged, which it’s apparently been doing to a lot of people. Tried a bunch of stuff but couldn’t get it to boot back to the old version, so I had to wipe my hard drive (eep) and restore from my external Time Machine backup — thank god I’d done one immediately before starting the upgrade, for once!
Anyway, PSA, learn from my suffering, etc.
I feel yo feels.
*writes my thesis*
"It’s not my job to educate you" is a nice way of saying "I can’t back myself up"
no it’s not, people aren’t obligated to teach others especially when it’s something as simple as using google and seeing that there are TONS of resources out there that can easily back up what is being said and people get tired of constantly being asked to be educated on issues that they constantly talk about.
